The Pakistan Welfare Association (PWA) in partnership with the Hounslow Muslim Forum (HMF) are pleased to announce the London Borough of Hounslow Hustings, that will take place on Sunday the 2nd of May 2010, 6.30pm at the Jinnah Centre, 136-146 Hounslow Road, Feltham TW13.
Prospective parliamentary and local council candidates have been invited to attend and discuss their manifestos and their views on local and national issues. With most invitees having accepted and only a few confirmations remaining, it is anticipated to be an exciting evening of debate and conversation. Mary Macleod has confirmed her participation in the event and Brentford Conservative Council Candidates will attend.
Mr Mohammad Chaudhry the current Chair of the PWA and HMF which constitutes some 15 local Hounslow community organisations said, ‘We are privileged to be holding this unique and collective civic event at the Jinnah Centre, it will see participation from all the main parties, the local community should embrace the opportunity to meet their prospective representatives and relay their sentiments and concerns. Myself and the HMF membership look forward to welcoming all of Hounslow’s residents on the day.’
